Interviews with Writers Alice Munro, Margaret Atwood, and Dean Koontz

I enjoy the live interview with the writers Alice Munro and Margaret Atwood on Live Hangout On Air hosted by Google+. I feel much better about writing characters who I want to write whether they are like or not.
If you like to see the interview, here's the link:

I plan to watch the live interview with Dean Koontz at 5:00 p.m. today that also on Live Hangout On Air hosted by Google+.

Who Put Cookies In The Cookie Jar? By George Shannon pictures by Julie Paschkis

Who Put Cookies In The Cookie Jar? by George Shannon and pictures by Julie Paschkis is about cookies and how different cultures work together to make Delicious Cookies To Eat. I am considered by my family to be Mrs. Cookie Monster. So I recommend this book because it helps kids to understand how cookies are made and what to do once they are made. Share and eat. I've checked it out at my local library.

Mr. Wolf's Pancakes Book Review

My sympathy goes to the wolf in the picture book Mr. Wolf’s Pancakes. His neighbors Wee Willy Winkle, Gingerbread Man, Little Red Riding Hood, and the Three Pigs refuse to help him make pancakes. I could understand why they wouldn't want to help Mr. Wolf; he is capable of eating them. However, it does not excuse their impoliteness. Each one could have said no in a nice way not mean and slam-the-door in your face way they did. Remember, treat someone how you want to be treated,

Mr. Wolf finishes making his pancakes all by himself. When his neighbors demand to eat some pancakes, Mr. Wolf eats the bunch and then his pancakes. I am shocked by the ending yet I am laughing in unbelief. I should have seen it coming.

The best line: “There’s no need to be like that,” said Mr. Wolf quietly.
